Contemplating Trading

i love my truck , but im kinda getting bored with it.
2005 lariat about 41k
no payments either/ i own

why i want to sell/trade

- i do not like the look of the supercrew 5.5 as much anymore, no real need for the full rear doors either
- i will never own another black vehicle, i do not have the time nor the drive to be cleaning/detaling the truck 2x a week anymore
- majority of my mods i can take off and sell over transfer over to the new truck, with the exception of the Body lift , which can gladly stay on
- i like the look of the 06+ bumpers
-Fx4 over lariat , i love the carbon fiber interior over the fake wood trim

i ve always loved / wanted a white supercab with the 6.5 bed and i found which would more or less be same amount of $$$.

heres the linky to the autotrader

All I can say is if you got the $, and its what you want then go for it.

P.S. I like your grille, if you decide to sell it send me a pm, I am getting tired of the sound mine is making when I'm on the highway.

yeah i would take off everything but the Body lift, like i said the majority of the mods can be transfered over, so its not a total loss.

the black wheels would prolly look good on white, just hope i would be able to squeeze 35's under there with a leveling kit

if i keep my truck , theres a good chance , but if i upgrade to the white Fx4 prolly not anytime soon, even though it might be not be that much more cash , theres a lot of little things that add up

sales tax / register the truck = the price of the lift lol

but then again , i would only need a lift, i have rims, tires, edge hmmmmmmm

I can so completely agree with you on wanting something different, but to go from one of the baddest F150s on this site, to another F150 I couldn't do it.

Why not get something totally different?

At first I was a little sad to see your decision to trade, but if your gettin a FX4 supercab 6.5 footer I'd def do it

The only gripe I have about mine is the cloth seats, but the one you posted looks like it has leather, plus a nice set of seat covers can always fix that right up

I dont know maybe it's me but if i had a vehicle with NO PAYMENTS i would keep it till the wheels fall off and just buy another car/truck to drive around in? Paint job is cheaper then 5/6 years of payments plus you know the history of yours already. .02

I know what you mean about the black. It's a major pita and requires constant attention. I get tired of it too.

If I was to do it over I would go with the white! There are some nice lookin' white trucks around here.

Decisions decisions

No problems for me or anyone else I know, I just ended up buying it at carmax. It was cheaper and had a better warranty.

I know what you mean about the black....I've had a few black cars/trucks adn they are a MAJOR PITA though they look the sweetest when they are clean. I went w/ silver for that reason this time. I'm older and lazier/have better things to do. I agree that the 06+ bumpers look better too as well as the carbon fiber over the fake wood. If you want it and think you'll be happier then go for it dude! What's the bs on the wheels you're running? I ran 35x12.5x18's on some 18x9 Incubus crushers w/ like 5.47" bs before I did my lift. That was with just a 2" leveler and some trimming too. That'll hold you over until you can buy the lift you want. I like the look of that white truck a lot man. 35's on those stock 20's would be sick too. Maybe if those 35's you got are 20's you could pull that off man.
