Ford A-Plan Pricing ?
Hi All,
I have the opportunity to use the A-Plan for my F-150 truck purchase. I had question about pricing.
How much do you get off? ( If MSRP is 31000, what would your price be ? Is there a formula or what ? )
Thanks in advance

I think the A plan is Invoice + 5%. Not exactly sure but I think. Someone else will know for sure. I am pretty sure I read it one here somewhere.

Ask the dealer to show it to you. He has to show you if you are eligible. The A Plan is below invoice. It is about .83 times the MSRP for the F150. It is different for other Ford models. I bought on X plan which is A plan plus 4%.
In addition, I got the low 2.9% financing and $500 rebate when I bought the wifes Explorer. Ask for it!!!!!

Dewayne Fuller hit it on the head. The X Plan is 4% above A Plan. One thing though, you can't use one factor for every vehicle on the A Plan. For example, at one time, and may still be, the Expedition was the deepest discounted on the A Plan. At the same time, the Windstar was close to invoice and in fact, my in-laws bought without the A Plan and got a better deal.
.83 sounds reasonable. If you are buyin on the A Plan, it's easy though. Ask the dealer and they will show you the invoice; it has the A Plan pricing on it.
Here's an example of what is a great deal on the A Plan. An MSRP $40k truck at $32k and some change. Now oyou throw in the Ford subsidy money like the low interest and rebates that are out now, man you got a sweet deal!!
By the way, you will never buy a vehicle from a dealer for less than they pay for it. Notice I said pay, not paid. There are too many pricing incentives and programs etc. You wouldn't want them to sell for less than they pay do you? They'd be gone really quick.

In order to get either A, X or Z plans, you need to contact the Ford Plan center. You then get a PIN that you use at the dealership. Then you can either pick out a vehicle on the lot or order one. The dealer puts in the vehicle and it's equipment, punches in your PIN and viola, it spits out your price. Roughly 5-7% under dealer invoice for A&Z and 2-3% under for X plan. Thats close enough to get an idea anyway. If you qualify for X plan you need to get your companies fleet number first! I'm not sure what you need if your an employee or retiree for the A and Z plans, but Ford can help you out. You also still qualify for any rebates or special APR's.
