Post Styleside with side impact thingy?!?!?!?!?...

I have these side impact protector thingys(the ones that protect you from a car door ding) on the side of my truck. and I've been wanting to remove them for some time now along with my sport sticker. I did a search for pics and ALL the trucks that are styleside that I've seen doesn't have it...WTF???

If I remove it, is there holes behind it like on the emblems???? and whats the best way to remove it without harming the paint in ANY way?

Sounds like you're speaking about the door mouldings that run along the truck about knee level.

These are held on by some sort of adhesive - looks like some sort of "double sided sticky tape". I know this because I was recently T-boned when a 65 year old lady ran a red light. When the body shop replaced the moulding (molding?) it started peeling off right away, revealing the "tape" behind it.

what would be the best way to remove this with as little paint scratch as possible????

I went to the dealership and they said there are no holes so i'm taking them off tomorrow.
