2007 Roush Stage 1 Mustang-Opinions please...

A bud of mine is contemplating getting back into a Ford. He's always been a Mustang guy, but had to get a truck due to a job change. Now that his job situation has changed again he's got the itch, and came across this 2007 Roush Stage 1 Mustang, basically a glorified GT, with a custom Elanor fiberglass hood and a billet grille.

I haven't seen it personally, but we may be heading to see it this week.

What do you guys think about this?

You said it, a glorified GT. I don't know if that's a good price or not, but surely he could buy a GT and make it look so much better than that thing.

The thing is he's not a very handy guy. It's more than likely going to stay just like that, or I'll have to do it.

As for the price, it's average.

i wouldn't pay $25k for that. i think the wheels are ugly, the vents on the tiny back windows are ugly w/ that blue color, inside looks nice, but i think you'd be able to get a really nice gt for much cheaper and do a few appearance mods and still come out cheaper.

I wouldnt do it. But then agian seeing as your buddy isnt much of a wrench hand he might as well. He could get a GT with about the same amount of miles for about 5-8 grand less if he looked around and place that money back into it, and have a much nicer ride in my opinion. He's paying to have the name ROUSCH on there.

HRLY-TRUK,

The stage 1 dosnt have a supercharger. It's nothing more than a style package...the stage 3 is when you get the SC.

He should just get a regular Mustang GT then use the money he saved to lower it and add a few simple performance parts.

I would tint windows, get rid of the stripes, and switch wheels.

With a little work he could buy a new '09 GT for less than that. I'd pass.
