there are a couple gun shows coming up. one is in pennsylvania may 23rd & 24th at Kings Caterers 4010 New Falls Road, Bristol, Pa 19007 and another in june at the ft meyers lee civic center june 20 and 21.

any of you been to either? worth it or not? any comments?

 

Never been to either, but if you're going in blind, best thing to do is research the gun/guns you wanna buy so you can tell if the deals are good or not. I went to last two guns shows in Charlotte. 1st one was way high. The one I went to in May wasnt too bad. Bullets are where they are getting you now. But, I was able to buy a case of .223 for $385. and I bought my Glock 22 ($640 @ local gun shop) OTD for $510.

 

Most gun shows have become just a place for Beef Jerky salesmen and various non firearm related old junk. Guns and Ammo far over priced at the ones I have been to the last few years. The sellers all assume people are going to come without knowing the market. And the buying market is not good. Not many bargains. Just like their are rarely any deals at Pawn Shops anymore. I don't know about those but ours have gone down hill completely.

 

talked to a friend in FL today. he went to the one in Charlotte county. he said there was a lot of firearms and plenty of ammo. he said prices were good. a couple tables covered with ar-15s.

just looking for some input from any one thats been to the 2 that i listed so i can save the drive if they suck. theres nothin in new jersey (the communist liberal state).
