I've been reading up on this truck and most people seem pretty happy, but I have seen a few posts about the 4.2 and leaking front covers which lead to engine failure. Is it possible to swap in a 4.6 or 5.4 if ,god forbid, my 4,2 quits? I just did a 3.8 into my wifes car and it cost more than a V8! I checked the recall notices listed here and saw nothing about a leaking front cover. Thanks in advance for any help or tips.

I would ask the same question in the V6 forem, they would know there. I don't know much about the V6 exsept a guy in my building has a V6 and loves it.
