Can some one help please

hello? i recently traded my nissan altima for a 1991 ford f 150 4x4 5.8liter. I have a month with the truck and i still havent been able to drive it
the truck would not stay running i clean out both gas tanks change the the ignition module put in new spark splugs new wires new cap n rotor new battery including a new starter also a buddy of mine adjusted the timing cause first it would start but will not stay runningi guess by cleaning out gas tanks and changing spark plugs and wires cap and rotor finaly it will stay running was still having trouble with with starter but replaced that yesterday now the truck just kicks over but will not start can some one help me out i just dont know what else to do.

Fuel filter?

Fuel pump?

Are you getting fuel pressure?

Is this injected or carburetor?

Injectors or carb could be clogged. Sounds like more of a fuel issue than anything.

If it's a stick shift you had to depress the clutch and hold the brake in order to get them to start. Just a guess. Also check out the coil.
