Good thing you didnt get her an exploder. Those things are fugly. 24K is sure a lot of money for a V6. Why didnt you get her a used F350 Dually 4-Door with a turbo diesel??

I do not personally have an escape but my best friend's mom has one and she is pretty satisfied with it and I have ridden in 2 other ones. It seems like a great vehicle with a nice set of features for a nice price. My mother also has a 2000 Honda CR-V and even though it is different then the Escape I think they have lots of similarities in relation to size, etc. The honda is a good car for just around town stuff and I think the escape would be also, but I would definitely say get the V6 Escape.

It good to see that everyone rates them favorably. My wife wants the Mazda Tribute to replace her '98 Explorer Sport.

Can anyone rate the acceleration on one, say compared to their F150?
