Staring down at a chevy
It may be petty and childish, but I got great pleasure in parking at the office this morning beside a chevy 4x4 w/offroad package and my F150 had at least 2" more clearance and sat at least 3" higher overall. And d$#b, The F150 just looks better! Its the small things.

I think the only thing that's petty is the Chevy truck! I'm always looking to see if I'm taller than they are & so far - YES I AM! LOL! I love when they pull alongside & we check out each other's trucks - they always look so sad when I pull away!

Dearest Cowlady...not to be picky, but let's examine your verb phrases in relation to your relationships with Chevys.
"...they always look so sad when I pull away!"
Pull away? Now certainly, when it comes to shoveling your exhaust into the grillwork of a Chevy, there are much more colorful phrases to draw upon than "pull away."
How about, "they look so sad when I dropkick their hood ornament," or "when I litter their windshields with pavement."
Come on now, you drive a Ford, give those verbs a superchip!

I know the feeling. Not only that, but when I park next to one, I hop out and take a pic of the trucks side by side with my digital camera. That really pi$$es them off
