Thumbs up

Go for it Lariat - you may be able to retire on what you earn there!
A friend was throwing away a beer clock (Schmidt's Beer) that was all plastic. It lit up & that was about the best feature on it. I listed it as a joke - started it @ $4.95 & figured I'd be lucky to get a single bid. It sold for $31.00!!!! Not bad for an item destined for the landfill! It's the only item I ever sold but it sure was fun watching the bids go higher & higher!
Good luck & for anyone else reading this, BID OFTEN, BID HIGH! LOL!

Lariat and other HU card fans. I have found a sweet source for those emu boards and the new plug in for the HU cards that protects them forever. Of course, it's for educational purposes only.

JDM and lariat. My employee's neighbor is a comuter whiz. He has a thing that slides into the card slot to descramble the codes and the HU card slides into it. The HU card is used for video only and the chip never comes in contact with the insides of the reciever. So the card is protected. It is a much cleaner version of the computer based descrambler. I've seen it work with a computer and just a card. The computer is a PITA and has to stay connnected to the reciever. This plug in is great. He has also cracked the last "Black Sunday" codes and can flash the HU cards but it will happen again. The plug in prevents anything ever happening to the card. It is expensive though.

I learned this in his electronics course he gives at his house, I use it for educational purposes only.

And is this course available via correspondence? I would be interested in learning more.
