Cool Interesting idea

Heres an interesting idea I had about the front of my work truck.. Had a bug shield on there that rubbed all the paint off the front of the hood pretty bad (previous owner put it on there) Anyway, instead of gettin the whole hood painted and having it not match anyway probably, I ran down to the Line-X shop and they shot a 5" strip across the front of the hood. Makes for a permanent bra. They will shoot about anything you want down there, so you are only limited by your imagination. What do you guys think? Oh by the way, they charged $30.00 to do it.

Sounds like a good (and cheap) idea. Your idea got me thinking. Do you think the Line X would stick to chrome? I'm thinking black bumpers all around. Would the Line X be shiny or dull?

well, i guess it can be either, I had them shoot it a little smoother than usual and it came out a bit shinier and less textured than my bed liner (line-x). I still doesnt get real smooth though.

I am tempted to do that to the bottom 1/4 of my truck. Basically whatever is gray along the bottom. That would give you extra prtoection from rocks and whatever else gets thrown up at your truck. Best thing is that you don't ever have to worry about scratching it.
