Post Speeding Ticket help

I got a ticket in Westchester County of NY. I was charged with Sec 1180 Sub D which is basically "You went over the speed limit". Is it sufficient to prove I wasn't going the specific speed on the ticket or do I have to prove I wasn't speeding at all? I ask because I got a whoping 11pt citation so it's not like I can go from doing 40+ over to not speeding. Also the infraction was a pace and not radar. Can someone direct me to the local guidelines governing pace validity/regulations? Any other helpful info would be appreciated as well.
I do realize speeding is wrong. I won't try to justify my speed at all. Be safe everyone and thanks.

Best of luck to you in court when I lived in NY back in 87 when I was in the ARMY I got stoped a few times 2 times for speeding and once for failer to stop I went to court and lost all 3 times and had to pay my fines and court cost so your screwed as they just want your money and don't care if you can afford it or not.

I don't know the laws in NY. I have sat through traffic court a few times when the driver admits to speeding but tries to negotiate just how fast he was going. It never works. Seems like it's all or nothing.
