Post Custom tach

This weekend I finally got my custom tach done and installed. It is a digital tach that is mounted in a 2-5/8" gauge pod in the A pilar. It have a 50 LED sweep and a 2 digit read out.

this is a pic of it install, with the engine running at 2000 rpm.

i love original ideas like this. that is one awesome tach. did you tap into the factory engine speed sensor or is that your own custom made piece? cool tach!!!

we used a sensor of our own. No where on the truck did we even tap into a the wiring harness. It gets the power and the light control from my after market stereo harness, after the stock plug.
