thinking of a project

After swapping the motor in my truck I have a complete PI 5.4 sitting around that is still in very useable condition. Well anyways I have been looking for a blown 4.6 mustang for some time to put it in. I just ran across this 94 Grand Marquis for $300 that may be a some what unique car to stuff my 5.4 in. What do you guys figure?

Here is the ad to the car...

IMO if your gonna spend the time and money on the swap, do a vehicle you will atleast look cool driving or be able to recover money if you do sell it. if you sell a grand marques the crowd you would be selling to would be grandparents who could care less. try and find a 94 or so mustang not running and do the swap, or maybe even a jeep, fj40, bronco and have a offroad rig.

I was thinking this car because it is a 4.6L. It is a 4.6-5.4 swap. Straight forward, otherwise bolt in. I should be able to get this car rolling with the 5.4 for <$1000. I have a spare SCT chip laying around would just need a reburn. I have the motor already, just need some intake adapters so I could run the 4.6 manifold.

I'd say do it. It'd be a cheap fun project. Sleeper too.

Fixed

I have been looking for a mustang candidate for that motor for last 5 months. The cheapest I found was still $5000. i was really hoping for a mustang or at least a cougar/T-bird. But something like this would be a 100% total sleeper. The swap would put it in the mid 13's. I could get any parts it needs for cost through work as well.....

yeah I'm definitely going to take a look at it, if its around tomorrow night.
