I've lost all my internet races with that truck.

i think motor trend has the f-150 beatin the chevy out in the 1\4 mile. however when they added some significant weight to the beds of the truck the chevy was slightly faster. someone on here had the article.

I'd say it would be a very close race and alot of it would be one the skill of the driver in a close race but I think the FORD would beat the chevy as chevy eats alot of its power in the drivetrain anyway.

I don't have any stats on the Regular cab but the F-150 Supercab beats the Silverado XCab by 0.5 seconds 0-60 (8.1 vs 8.6). These numbers were taken from Motor Trend.

Who cares which is the "fastest"; that is unless you are going to race the truck on a closed track of some sort.
The important thing is that you drive both trucks and be sure that you get the one you think is best for you and yours!

Thanks for all the input guys. No, I'm not buying the truck to race, but I was curious. I would love to have a Lightning, but it's just not in the cards right now!

Thanks,
Steve
