ok cool idea.

350 chevy....come the Flying F-bomb on...why???!!!
seriuosly why ruin a nice ford with a cheap chevy engine that i could probably find in a dumpster at the nearest gas station.

im so sick of seeing guys build nice ford roadsters and then cop out n install a 350 cuz its easy and CHEAP.

i go to car shows all over the state all summer long and see this happen every weekend.

i am happy to see when they have categories like "Ford in a Ford"

sorry if someone out there is one of these people witha chevy in their ford but it jus kinda makes me not even want to look at the vehicle.

i know its pretty biased of me but ok shoot me for bein opinionized.

and im not a fan of stacey david either. dont get me wrong, the guy knows some of his stuff but so much of what he does is cheezy as all get out.

thanks for listening.
I didn't see the show but putting a SBC in a Ford is a terrible thing in my book. Using cost is a weak defense for this despicable crime. The second motor for aftermarket support is the 302/5.0. The cost difference is nothing.

it wasn't a $100,000 rod .. it was a budget build, and it is cheaper to build a Chevy small block than it is a Ford, due to parts availability.

but I do understand the comments.

afterall, I have a Pontiac BB in my Pontiac. not a chevy BB.

I haven't seen the episode in question, but I'll defend it anyways....... lol

If they're building a rat rod, rat rods are typically cars that are pieced together from whatever parts you have laying around or whatever you can get really cheap. So I will cut them some slack if what they're trying to do is build a cheap hot rod.
