That's another thing, why don't these guys just go to the source? Like the oil industry, pick on them for a change! It seems the oil industry is keeping our technology back? Shouldn't we be able to get over 500Hp and 800 Pounds of Torque from a 1.2L 4 cylinder yet? I mean this is 2001 right?

What about them becoming smarter and invent something that can be installed on our trucks that will use H2O instead of fossil fuels? Anyway that's just my opinion!

The things that people will do, when they have no life. Why don't they just take up a real hobby.YOu guys don't want to get me started on the enviromentalist thing. I work in the wood products industry. Those bastards have reaked havic on all lumber producering companies.I will admit theat there was a time when the trees would be cut down and the forest wouldn't be replanted but those days have been gone for 20+ years(perhaps longer, not sure cause I moved here 23 yrs ago). Its like they want the trees to grow old and die.Boy that put the wood to good use NOT.Wonder what there houses are made of.Wood Maybe. It has also been proven (according to the experts at my employer) that young healthy forests produce more oxygen than an old growth forest.Don't we need that stuff to breathe?I better stop before I get to mad here. I just want to add that I do my part( recycling etc...) and I purchased a 26 acre tract of land that had been logged of 40 years ago and never replanted. Every free day I have I am planting seedlings on it.

Acually the really sad part about people like that is they complain that our vehicle pollute the enviroment yet they drive the oldest most non maintained polluting vehicles on the face of the earth. Maybe they would have a bit of credibility if they only rode bicycles and were setting the example instead of acting like spoiled little children who's daddy won't buy them a government.

Three groups of poeople I hate most in this country

Members of PETA

Militant Vegetarian ready to tell you you're an idiot for eating meat

And finally these misinformed, college "let's protest everything" social misfit, make pull overs out of hemp, free Mumia-whatever the heck his name, cause of the week, candidate for any cult, mindless enviro-morons. It's one thing to have a cause, be educated about it, and know how to debate and deliver your message. But to step to the level of putting stickers on SUVs and trucks (and they probably DROVE to that parking lot to assualt these vehicle) makes my blood boil to a point that you could steam cabbage in under my skull.

not that I have any feelings about this.

There was a similar post a few months back where I suggested they put their sticker next to this one on my truck...

Having reviewed that post and thinking it sounded a little hot headed, I'm changing my position. They can put any sticker they want on my truck as long as they don't mind when I put this one on their Volkswagon...

or maybe this one...

but I like this one best...

Guy and Ladies I go to school at possibly the most conservative university in the US if anyone every decided to do something like this here there would be much blood shed. Any ways I was in an area of Houston called the Rice Village with a few buddies, I was a bar drinkin' when I was about Seventeen, yet I digress, my buddies and I walk out to my truck to have a smoke, well Im standing in front of my truck when I see four guys, sneaking across the street with a can of spray paint and some stickers, they moved up behind my truck and spray painted my bumper red and put one of those satickers on, well they almost got it on, see I was an all state linebacker and I stand about 6'2 and weight about 235, to make a long story short I made those guys take a ride to Ben Taub in the back of an ambulance, thenm I made them pay for what they did to my truck and a buddies truck that night, the police, who seemed to not care that I was at a ba, told me that these guys had done over 100,00 dolars in damage to cars at Rice University, and thanks to the Vicious beating that me and a few bar patrons handed out to these guys they were finnally stopped, by the way I wasnt drunk. I think that if you have an opinion you should express it in a way that is constructive, not destructive. Dont hurt peoples posswesions.

Not to defend this website (I hate tree huggers more than anything), but on the page it does say to place the sticker on the rear window so it does not obstruct the drivers view. I definately wouldn't want a sticker on my truck, but those stickers are easily removed from windows. Again, I'm not siding with them, just playing a little devil's advocate.

I carry a small (read foot-long) Mag-Light in my truck for this and many other occassions where I might have to defend my hard earned and worked-for property from such vandals. Someone further up had it right in quoting B.A.
"I pity the fool..."

Sure, our trucks eat a lot of fuel, but I'd bet our late model trucks pollute less than a 1970 Volvo!
