For a couple of bucks, you COULD have converted it to flip up like a hard tonneau.

eph1fifty your killing me!!! I saw myself, but the best part was you posted pictures of your prediciment. Too funny! I normally bang my knuckles up bad when I'm working on a vehicle. (And it's normally not my vehicle!) So now I just take the biggest open end wrench I have and I crush it down on my fingers before I start, then I don't have that problem anymore!!!

You guys are all F**king nuts! I bought one last winter and tried to install it and was unable. I returned it. I blamed improper fit.
I am fortunate that my neighbours do not understand french. They think I am the happest SOB they ever met. They say "When he raps his knuckles he starts to sing in french. He is such a happy fellow." Take hart Steve, summer is only 4 months away.

ROFL Jean-Marc, thats one of the funniest things I've ever heard! LOL.
I installed my roll-bar today, in my garage, because it was so dang cold! I tried to keep the swearing to a minimum despite the bloody knuckles and the bolts that refused to go where I wanted them to. Just wait'll I change my oil next time, LOL

LMAO, I just had the mental picture of myself replacing the transfercase (NP206) on my old Bronco! That thing must weigh twice I do! I was trying to put it up there, I was on my back with the help of 2x4's some bricks and a jack. I used both my feet and hands to get the dang thing installed. But man did I ever "sing" as JMC would put it

Or the time I removed the engine from my Firebird for a nice detail job. Putting it back in was a pain! I used a tree with a chain block but the car wasn't level plus the engine being a big block! Well you get the picture! I was sitting on the front clip using my feet and hands plus a metal bar to get the engine installed! I did so much "singing" I could of made millions from making a french grunge album called "L'osti** Coli*** de tabar****, maudit chien sale, coli*** de bolt. Tu me fais chier #@$#@$#%$#$^%$#" LOL

Go with Covercraft. It looks nice and it wasn't that hard to put on. You don't see the snaps(because it doesn't have any) on the outside either and you have to have a special tool to get it off. It comes with the two of the tools. I got mine through JCWhitney for $210. If you do get one, snap the corners down first then do the rest. BTW, I couldn't see your pictures. Post them again if you can.

Eph, I've seen road kill that wasn't as mangled as your poor cover! I would have offered to buy it from you but I can't sew nor can I perform miracles! Hopefully it is in Extang Heaven, resting peacefully & SAFE from your attacks! ROFL!
Sorry - it must have aggravated you for you to attack it. Cheer up - if you take the job then you'll be selling the truck - minus it's tonneau! I'd stay away from the truck as much as possible beofre it loses any more parts!
