Spring cleaning
I can't wait to do this job on my truck! I plan on doing a very complete detail job on my truck! Here is what I'm prepared to do
1- I will remove my push bar, and front bumper to repaint the push bar (already I know but, got to have fun on the trails). I also have a lot of packed mud behind the bumper that I would love to clean, maybe save .0000000002 MPG LOL and treat behind the bumper with anti-rust paint!
2-Remove the rear bumper and do some cleaning and painting as of the front one!
3-Remove the box to sandblast and repaint the frame, axle, diff, etc... I need to reapply the factory frame paint/goo stuff!
4-Do the same job for under the cab...
5-Do a good cleaning job on the engine and engine bay!
6-Have the carpet steam cleaned due to some coffee, calcium and grease stains (No OJ Cowlady... yet)
7-This I can't do but have the whole paint job buffed and polished from one of dem fancy pansy places
8-Take care of my rims, clean the insides.
9-Repaint my brake callipers, etc... (goes with #3-4)
10-Get the whole d**** truck dirty again
Well I did do a semi-complete detail job on my red bronco before selling it! It took me a week of buffing and painting but the undercarriage was beautiful! I painted it metallic charcoal and it didn't take me long to sell the ol Bronco... I can't wait to see my 97 truck shine again, this winter thing gets on my nerves around Feb-Mar so I lash out once spring arrives! I once removed the engine from my firebird spent a week detailing the engine and engine bay
Oh and I waxed the car maybe 10 times with various cleaners, polishes and waxes! LMAO my dad's clients at the garage thought I was a mental case!
Went until they see me take apart my truck just to get to hard to clean places! LOL This time I will be able to immortalize my work using my d-cam and the net

Sounds like a lot of work to do just to take the truck back out and get it dirty agian....
I just look forward to the possibilty of a trail ride this spring with my buddies, and seeing how dirty I can get my truck....and then spend the time cleaning it. Then it is just my fourwheeler that is going to get muddy the rest of the year...Unless I get the itch to go thru a construction site....Hummmmm...now that is a great idea.
