Anyone using an Escort Laser Shifter?

I have noticed that almost all of the police departments around me have switched to laser detection and I cannot detect them until it is too late. I have done a little bit of research and decided that I should get the Escort laser shifter ZR3 or the newer ZR4. Has anyone used one and if so how well does it work?

Obeying the speed limit works better and actually saves you money - better gas mileage.

Jammers work, just don't get caught with it.

I don't drive all that fast, just really do not like all of the speed traps set up by the police in my area. If I get caught going 5-10 mph over just one more time, it will cost me alot more than the $225 (insurance increase and fine) that the Escort ZR3 costs.
On a side note, the next time I get pulled over I am going to ask the cop......"Government agencies choose not to enfoce illegal immigration laws every day, why can't you just not enforce the speed limit today?"

Good call I hear arguing with the cop, and being a smart *** really wins points with them.

Get the Blinder laser jammer kit. Go check out youtube, there's tons of vids, and it pretty much has a 100% success rate of completely jamming all law enforcement laser guns.

I would get the M25, and don't get conned into the "Truck and SUV" one.

Off the Blinder website:

Legal
There are no federal laws in the U.S.A. that prohibit the ownership and/or operation of laser jammers. However, some states have enacted their own laws that do prohibit the use of these devices. These states include: Nebraska, Minnesota, Utah, California, Oklahoma, Virginia, Colorado, Illinois and Washington DC.
I thought they were illegal everywhere? Anyone know for sure? I'm not getting one..just curious.

You know, if your in a bunch of traffic, you can actually pic up the laser as it is darting other cars. And thats before it ever hits you. Mine has saved my **** many times cause I was behind traffic, which was blocks ahead of me. When it showed up on mine as a 20/20 Direct hit, I was about a block away from him. Not like I was speeding in heavy traffic anyway. I always have to slow down for the 75 mile an hour races that constantly happen on I-80

They're not illegal in Arizona, I checked and am planning on getting some eventually.
