What computer OS are you using
This is a spin from another thread and just wondering what type a computer or device you are running. What do you prefer and why..
I have just switched from a Dell dimension to a imac 20" and I love the new mac. I have been using computers since the Commodore 64 days and the Raidoshack TRS80's and have been using Windows since day one, so this is a whole new world for me.

First off, IBTL. Anyways...
Windows 7 x64 Beta Build 7000.
It's basically Vista but fixed. It's super stable, fast, not a resource hog, networking is pretty much automated, PLAYS GAMES, DX11 capable, not from those *********** at apple, recognizes all of my RAM, and it has lots of cool features added.
That's my short list. I haven't had any problems with compatibility so far and no BSOD's or crashes at all.

dont ever mention you have a MAC under any circumstances or will be ripped a new one...period.
Just keep that info to yourself.
Theres much more tolerance on this forum for those that drive CHEVY's than those who are using a macintosh computer.
You have been warned

By the way...what is the difference between Vista 32 bit and 64 bit?
Just keep that info to yourself.

See what I don't understand about loudmouths like yourself is why you have to bother posting in a thread that does not concern you. If you don't like it move along..I certainly would not make fun of your motorcycle, I mean I am not to tolerant to guys making their Honda look like a Dyna. I got the real thing son..
Difference between 64bit and 32 bit is mainly that 32 bit only recognizes up to roughly 3.5GB of RAM. So if you had 4GB of RAM and you're using 32 bit, you're not utilizing that extra half a GB of RAM that you have. There are other smaller things but this is the main deciding factor when choosing between 64 and 32. 64 bit was marketed towards servers and supports up to thousands of GB worth of RAM, because typically servers use upwards up 16GB.
Its really all up to the person using it and as to what they want. I like my mackbook pro a lot, and will continue to use Mac's from now on. I dont hate PC's by any means i have an old on sitting in the spare room just incase it is needed for something but most things are compatible with both now
