This NOLA place is just crazy fun

Been hangin' down here for a few days and if you've never been then you need to get down here at least once. Thre food is the BOMB and the culture is fascinating. In fact, we went on a graveyard tour yesterday and I could not believe all of the American heritage that started here. Even if your not into history and stuff like that you would still have a great time. The French Qtr (which actually wasn't French it was Spanish) is a happenin' place. Good eats and good partying.

Anyways, on our way to a Gospel breakfast (), talk at ya' all later

Heck, if I'd known you were coming down here I would have given you a tour. I live about 60 miles from New Orleans in the Cajun Country. I still work in the New Orleans area. Tried any crawfish or raw oysters yet!

you are right in some sorts...

you can be out at a few clubs/bars one night and the city is full of life, really happening....

by daybreak...wow, poverty stricken in 90% of where you look. Crackheads on every corner. It's a mess...yes im talking about parts of the french quarters also. I did have fun though!

In Deer Park, they would refer to that as the "smell of money"........

I've said it more than once -- New Orleans is the only city in America that can make Houston seem like Venice......

You need two armpits, right? New Orleans and Houston.

I bet Bossier City is the better candidate.
