I'm confused.

So it's a 2wd truck now? And you plan on doing a 4wd swap? Dude do you know how expensive that will be? and how much work that will be?

And why would that truck raise by 8-10 inches if you do this?

The back won't change at all. The front may. I'm not sure what all you would have to change on the front end.

my buddy is giving me a devorsed 205 transfer case and a sterling 10.25 rear axle. im getting a dana 44 with coils and coil buckets for 300 bucks!!! the coils n coil buckets will lift the front of the truck 8-10 inchs and the 10.25 is already lifted about 6" on my buddys bronco.

all and all its gonna cost me 300 bucks plus lil stuff like brake lines ball joints stuff like that.

i would rather build mine into 4x4 than buy someone else 4x4 head ache. that doesnt look to bad with the 265/75's on there. could anyone throw some 35s under it?

to change the front end i take off all this indepent BS throw the 44 with buckets and coils under it for mock up start making brackets weld stuff on and im good to go!

a 205 transfer case with a 10.25 rear axle i dont think imma break much of anything!

Also i have longtubes but they are the 5.4 4x4 headers think ill have any front drive shaft isssuses?

heres his old bronco with a soild axle 12" of lift and 35" tires. him and his dad built the lift and put the axle in them selfs. nothing ever broke on that truck and we wheeled it hard....at one point i think we had about 5 feet of air under that truck

I think yur gonna have to do alot of custom fabrication for that. I know the 2wd and 4wd have different frames. Not sure how you plan on mountin that stuff up but it is somethin to look into. Here is a thread where they were talkin about usin stuff from a stock 4x4 and converting a 4x2 into a 4x4.
