They are alot of fun but right now they are expensive and hard to feed with ammo shortages. I have a bushmaster 16" heavy barrel carbine.

Are you looking for a scope or a red dot? And what price range are you looking to spend?

A good quality scope for a relatively cheap price is a Swfa super sniper scope. I have it on my ar right now and it is great.

Specs:

AR-15 platform rifle
Caliber: .223 remington
Barrel Length: 20" 1-8 twist chrome molly lined
Upper Receiver: Mega arms (soon to be ASA side charging upper ships out april 12)
Lower Receiver: Bushmaster arms (soon to be ASA lower)
Jewel two stage 1 lb pull trigger
Badger Ordnance Free Floating Barrel Forearm
Custom molded grip
Magpul PRS A2 rifle stock
Super Sniper 16x fixed power rifle scope
3 MCM 5 rd Magazines
JP Bennie Cooley Compensator

Has a total weight of 15.68 lbs

I will be building a second which will be an M4 style with the old parts that I have taken off.

Since it looks like you have a carbine, there is not really a reason to put a long range cross hair scope on it.

I would recommend a eotech or aimpoint for closer range. If you want it to be more of a 50yd - 300yd gun, I would recommend a Trijon Acog.

All of the scopes I listed are used by police and military, the most popular is Aimpoint (red dot sight) They are the same thing as some of the cheaper $100 red dot scopes but they are super tough, have really long battery life, water proof, adaptable to night vision, ect...
