Small problem in your description, Homer. Fords are SUPERCABS, Chevrolets are EXTENDED CABS. You refer to your Ranger as an EXTENDED CAB. It is a Ford, right?

Thanks to all that understand why i did what I had to do.. I have had the truck sence Oct. and I Love it 6K on it and no problems. this spring it will headlight and tail light blackouts and the windows blacked out that should make it look good. I would like to do it know but don't want to put anything on untill tha quit putting salt on the roads and it gets a little warmer out.
just to let know i am getting some where around 17 to 18 mpg in the city and the last trip i took up north i got 21 mpg, so I am damn happy with that the only thing that I don't like is the 16 gal tank....

does that have the new 4.0l 205hp? how does it run? i had a 98 ranger off road with the 3.0l 5speed and it was a major slug. i guess the older 4.0 160hp same thing. about time they put a real engine in it!

that new 4.0 is great i had the choice between a 2000 4.0 and a 2001 4.0, there is no way i would have gotten a 2000 the power is great.. a frenid and I raced on night he has a 2000 chev z71 with the 5.3 285 horse with 3.73 gears and i kicked his a$$ bad I did't even think that i would do that good. I have just sent out the chip from my f150 and mike is going o reflash it when i get that in i will have 230 horse and 260 tork i can't wait it will be so much fun....
