New F-150 owner in VA
Hi,
Just thought I'd introduce myself. I recently picked up a used 1997 F-150.
It had less than 37000 miles on it and is in great shape. I also own a '78 Ford Bronco that I'm restoring. I've already benefited from this web site (I now know my truck has a passive alarm system
) and look forward to learning and sharing much more about my new toy.

Nice truck Wendell! Congratulations & good luck with it. Have you had a chance to use the 4 wheel this year? I've heard that parts of the South have had some wild weather this year - was that anywhere near you? Up here in the frozen North I use it ALOT! Now if it would just stop snowing a bit so I could go off roading! I can't go now since I can't even see the roads to go off from! LOL!

nerf bars, 17" wheels, fog lights, trailer hitch w/electrical connector, front tow hooks, bed rail caps,
6 CD changer, lumbar support & 3 cow license plates - so far!
I'll fill in the rest as I get to know the truck better BUT it's big, it's pretty & best of all - IT'S A FORD! He's SO cute!
Now if it would just stop snowing a bit so I could go off roading! I can't go now since I can't even see the roads to go off from! LOL!Enjoy the truck! Have a great New Year too!

Very little snow here. I sometimes go over to West "by God" Virginia to visit my folks where the mountains can get a little tricky. However, its nothng like those pic.s posted in the snow pic thread. Was hoping for some this weekend, but missed us and hit NY.

I bought my new 2000 F-150 4x4 December 4. December 6 we had eight inches of snow. I was the only one in town happy to see it! Wahooooooo!
