New Car

Just got a new car yesterday. What do you guys think?

Don't worry, still have the F150 though. You can see it in the background of the first pic.

Congrats!!! Those are very nice cars. I'd love to have a GXP version! I am not much of a fan of GM cars but I do like those. A good friend of mine has a '04 GTO and it is pretty awesome. Actually been very reliable so far too. Both door lock motors went out once but thats it. Keep us updated on how you like it.

Very nice! I have considered trading in my truck for a G8.

Looks pretty nice -- it will be cool once Ford has a complete line of cars again. They really don't have anything in a passenger car that would be competitive with that vehicle -- at least not until the Taurus SHO comes out next year.

My thoughts exactly. I was at the Bay Hill golf tournament on Friday and had a G8 GXP, red with red and black leather interior. My buddy and I were chatting with the GM guy about it. I sat inside and it looked nice until I touched the center console. It felt like I could have ripped the thing out if I pulled just a little. The guy asked me what I thought and I told him it feels like every GM rental I get in...cheap and ready to fall apart after 6 months.

He asked me what I dove and I told him that my truck is over 3 years old and the interior fit and finish still blows this brand new top-of-the-line Pontiac away. No wonder they are going under. The best part was the sticker....$42K!!!

My stepdaughter had a G6 - the fit and finish and the interior quality sucked. The 3 piece sunroof leaked and rattled from day 1 and the dealer gave up trying to fix it. She was about to try for lemon law when she and her ex broke up and she stuck him with it and the payments.

Thanks everyone except the last two.

Cost was a factor in the no GXP with a manual.

To the last two, it will smoke the s**t out of any Ford Sedan. Enough said.
