Talking Super Bowl predictions

I have a strong feeling that the Bucs will pull it off this year. Now that the O-coordinator gave Shaun King his arm back. And the determination of home field advantage. The Vikings will fall apart early in post season. The other NFC teams are up in the air.

The AFC, I have no clue. The Raiders or the Titans seem strong. I think that Oakland can beat Tenn.

At this point, Oakland and Tampa Bay.

I like all the NFC teams this year and wouldn't mind any of them going to the SB. I'd say Tampa bay looks strongest right now. So I have to put my money on Sapp's butt.
(and that's a lot of scratch!)

In the AFC I'm going with a dark horse:

They have 4 shutouts in 15 games.
They are giving up 9.7 points per game.
They beat the Giants and Eagles.
They split with the Titans.
They lost 19-6 to Miami in a rain slop turnover game.
They have won six straight, and got their offense clicking averaging 27.5 in those games.

Baltimore Ravens

I predict that I'll be working while the Super Bowl is being played.

Please forgive my pessimism.

I don't think the Buc's can put a string of wins together on the road, so a lot depends on the games this weekend. At home they will be hard to beat. I do think the Rams are the best team when 100% (and not on the road), but they won't even make the playoffs. If Minnesota's defense starts to play agressive and the offense gets into a shootout, I don't think anyone in the NFC can beat them except the Rams. If they play like they did in the last two weeks (which they probably will) look for an early exit.

In the AFC I liked Oakland until I saw the SeaHawks game, now I like the Ravens.

Going to put my faith behind the RAVENS.
We have got one hell of a defense.

I'd have to say the Titans are going all the way this year.

Yes, the Ravens have the potential. Trent Dilfer always had the same problem as Shaun King with the Bucs O-coordinator. Did anyone see the ESPN Sunday Countdown or HBO's "Inside the NFL". The HBO cameras caught Shaun King on the sidelines screaming at the QB coach "just let me play, don't worry about it, just let me play!" He was pretty pissed. I think Tampa's win over St Louis proved a lot to the Tampa D, who, for the first time, was not relied on to win the game.

Bravo to Trent Dilfer in Baltimore. I will now wish for a Tampa Bay-Baltimore Super Bowl in Tampa.

I predict that the Cowboys will win it all....someday.... in the distant future.
That is if Jerry Jones will ever hire a real coach again and actually let him do his job.(yeah right!)

Actually though, I hope the Vikes take the trophy this season.

Titans will win a close one over Tampa Bay in the New Sombrero.

The Titans have the two things that always help win championships, a strong ground game and outstanding "D". (Well almost, the Rams did it last year without a dominating "D")

This is a tough call for me because I am both a Titans and Bucs fan. Titans just have more horses this year.

Beware the Rams! Given new life, their offense sends many defensive coaches into wild fits of hairpulling and mumbling.

Marshall is back. Warner is back. Tony Horne is returning kickoffs again. The horses are healthy. If the D can place or show, a long run could be in the cards.
