Has anyone seen this?
I wonder if it really works or is it just more scare tactics to 'help us part with our money'? http://www.clickese.com/earguard.html

I'd say forget about it. For years I wore asbestos undergarments because I was convinced the Federal Government had a microwave gun pointed at me, set at power level five.
I finally decided that if they want to cook me like a baked potato, let'em!

Raoul, you're too funny!!! But seriously, yes technically such a product could reduce EM fields. But before you rush out to order them realize something. Anything that has electrical current flowing through it produces an EM field, just a simple law of physics. So the whole phone (not just the ear piece) is producing EM fields. However, the field is incredibly weak, last time I checked cell phones don't use that much power. I remember a while back about electric shavers producing EM fields so close to your face. True, but everything in this modern world produces EM fields. Your microwave does, your computer does, your electric blanket does, your TV does, heck the wires in your walls do. If it uses electricity, there's an EM field. For crying out loud, your TV (and computer monitors other than flat screens) not only produce a strong EM field, but they also shoot out radiation. CRTs use Alpha radiation particles to phosphoresce the front of the screen. But the millions of particles that miss the front of the screen go shooting out straight at the people watching. Obviously though these particles aren't that bad for you, otherwise we'd have a nation of messed up people... hey wait a second.
So the conclusion to this science lesson is as follows. Yes that product would technically work, but I'd only buy it if you are super-paranoid. That's like plugging one hole in a colander to prevent water from coming out. Well the water will still come out the other holes. If you lower you EM exposure from your cell phone, you're still getting tons more from everything else in the world.

My advice,
Try to use both ears,(not at the same time of course) and the days you are still among us on this planet are doubled.
When can we expect the next lawsuit in the US?
Within ten years or so?

F150Europe, that is excellent advice. I am becoming more and more impressed with the educational system you have over there. Two ears, I'd have never thought of that. So, I should degrade my logical and artistic lobes at the same rate!
Obviously, I have been overburdening my logical lobe. Now, I can throw away these dang crayons!

What a scam. I've been using the Super 10,000 Gigantawatt cell phone for years, and haven't had a single problem. The extra power comes in real handy for dialing those 1-900 numbers when I'm on the road. The optional headset allows "hands free" operation! Oh, that baseball sized growth on my ear? Hell, that's just a beauty mark........

If you're concerned about radio waves cooking your brain, invest in a headset for your phone.
Analog phones mostly run at .6 watts. That's not much, but who knows? Jury is still out. Digital phones put out much less power, so there's less radiation exposure.
In the meantime, it's said that you should always extend your antenna. This gets the radiation a bit farther away from your head.
