An old model Ford Truck stuck in the snow.

Our weatherman showed us some images from the snowstorms around chicago.
There it was,a black Ford truck, stuck in the snow,hhmmmmmmm.........

Well you all have fun in the snow.
And take care.

Greetings from a snowfree Holland (yippee).
In fact we are not expecting any winter this season.Temperatures have never been so high before in December.(+- 53 F)

Snow? whats that? I only get snow here once or twice A year, unless it is a freak year. One year it snowed 3 feet in a period of 36 hrs(before I lived here dammit) Then it turned to rain and melted the snow very rapidly.Talk about your flooding. That was the worst flood this town has ever seen. The 2 rivers that flow through town crested at 32 feet above their banks.Pretty much the whole valley was under water.Luckily I can drive to all the snow I would ever want in about 45 minutes.

You thik snow is rare in Oregon, try Arizona. In Phoenix, the closest thing to snow flakes we get, is dust, ans tumble weeds.

Getting back to what F150Eorope saw, CNN (all news channel)showed some of the places that got the freezing rain-You know what brand truck they decided to show sliding into the center divider? You guessed it a 97 or newer Ford F150 2 wheel drive. It was not pretty.
Also the cascade mountain range(Umpqua National Forest) where I usaully trek to to play in the snow.I think I like having to go somewhere close(45 min.) to get deeper snow(over 6 inches)

No offense, but I wish Canada would keep the snow and cold.

Freezing rain / ice came Monday. We got 10" of snow Wednesday. Tomorrow, wind chill is predicted to be -20 (F). Good thing I'm well-insulated (aka fat).

Hey, case, my dad said that when he was coming home from Phoenix about a month and a half ago, they had about an inch or 2 outside Flagstaff... He said he was driving along and all of the sudden he noticed that there as snow on the cacti. Personally I think he was hallucinating, but he and my mom both swear by it!

Ya, it can snow pretty good in Flagstaff, It's one of the places in AZ that have a ski resort. Your parents must of been pretty suprized to see a cactus covered in snow, now that's an oxymoron!
But hey, you never know, they could of been hualuciating, those roadkill skunks can really mess up your head.

It snowed here the first week of November, but I don't think I've used a shovel in over a month. It is still white, but mostly ice. It has been very cold. Our daily highs have been in the single digits and even below zero for the past couple of weeks. It's -10 to -20 at night. Thank goodness I have a garage!
