Deer and truck not good combo..
That's an understatement. My buddy had a deer run into HIM a couple years ago. Driving down the road and the freaking deer ran into the side of his truck.
Well when you fix that truck, throw on about 9" of lift and some 38's.
I hit a deer last fall and I basically just ran it over. Granted it was a 1-2 year old doe, but it felt like I hit a coon!
No damage!

My wife has hit several deer. I don't think she can see very well at night. She came home one night telling me about a doe that hit the drivers door, and she was eye to eye with her, and it made a load thump. All the evidence I could find was hair stuck to the mirror.
we've been married about 12 years, and can think of a least three that she has hit, or that hit her. That number may be 4 though, I lost count.

I have hit 4 deer. Actually 3. one hit me in the side.
And have had dozens of near misses. We gotta shoot them up!
I guess the pig problem is getting really bad down south, I wonder how much car damage they do every year. Surely they are getting whacked by cars too.

Really bad here in Kansas too. Not so much this time of the year but rutting season it's nuts. My wife and I used to live in a small town north of the city we live in now. We had about a 10 mile commute on a 2 lane highway. Nothing but farm fields, trees, creeks etc on that commute. I bet on average I would see 6-7 vehicle/deer hits a week. They allow more tags per hunter per year around here now. But I honestly don't think it puts much of a dent in the population.
On my way back from San Diego this year, I decided to do some sightseeing in southern Utah. The secondary highways there are all open range - and you frequently see BLACK cows in the middle of the road like they own it. NOT a safe place to drive at night.......
