Has anyone else been banned from Napster lately? If so, did you sign that form? I've even tried eliminating all my Metallica songs, the Napster cookies, as well as doing a fresh install of Napster, and it still has me flagged. Any suggestions? Did I miss a cookie or something?

Not sure but I think what they do is keep your IP address and when you try and log back in it recognizes it and boots you. If you have a static IP you're pretty well screwed but if you have a floating IP like I do you can wait a while and try again. Like I said I'm not sure about this but just an idea.

 

If you do a search you can find a program that will unblock you. Basicly it puts a tag in your registry and recignizes you through that. I used to be blocked too

 

Yea me too. Mine would just tell me there were no results for my searches no matter what I put in. I finally gave up. They're shutting down the free stuff at the end of the year though, right?

 

post your email address and I will email you the proggie that unbans you from napster. MAKE SURE you back up your registry before using it because it changes your registry. I have never had a problem with it hurting my registry but you never know.

Sweet! Awesome! Worked like a charm the second time... the first time, it opened the program in its own window instead of prompting it to doanload... wierd?!?! Tried it again and it worked fine.
