I got Ford to give me a new ThunderBird Super Coupe back in 1990, it took a lot of comlaining, and persistance. I do not know the laws in your state, maybee you should call the attorny Generals office and ask them what the procedure is.
Make sure you have all you records, invoices etc. Talk to the Ford rep in your area, and see if there is a arbitor that can sit with you and Ford, and air out your concerns.

Don't give up, fight for your rights.

Definately check your laws, but I heard in Arizona, if your vehicle is in for repairs for more than 30 days in a 2 year period, it's a lemon. I don't know that as a fact, but that's what I heard. Good luck.

Andrew S,

Be sure to document EVERYTHING (all receipts, conversations with Ford, service work, etc.) Just so you have some proof. In case this gets nasty.

Got them to buy back my 98 Explorer after nearly 2 1/2 years! Looong story, but they almost have it done. I got most of the check already, but still have the Explorer... (again, it's more like an epic saga!) In a nutshell, I got all my money back less $1000 off-set for mileage. That means that in almost 2 1/2 years, it cost me $1000, plus a set of shocks, a set of wiper blades, one $50 deductible on the extended warranty, and gas, oil, and insurance, but I'd have those on any car. Not a bad deal, as far as I'm concerned.

Check out that site... if he can't answer your questions, no one can.

'00 F-150, X-cab, 4x4, Lariat, Off-road, Trailer Tow, Holandia Sunroof, built 11/99 picked up 10/00!
List of planned mods: Clear corners and tails, CB wiring, Stainless brush guard, at least 1 set of KCs (probably more!), custom radar detector mount, color matched trailer hitch with stainless steel ball, torsion bar tweak, bug deflector, spray in liner, and a tonneau of some sort...
