Post elections???

So - all you 'Mercan's think you got problems? - Well "it aint neccessarily so"
We Canadians have an election coming up on the 27th. But, at the moment about 95% of us know who is going to win already.
We don't need this election & most don't want it but, hey - why not? it's getting colder up here & we need something to take our mind off that.
One Province (not State)- Ontario, will assure that the current Government gets another term.
Another Province - Quebec has their own party & they want to leave Canada!!!
Our Prime Minister (not President) will win & he can't be understood in either of our official languages, French, or English.
The three western provinces will vote for a "new"?? party, led by a man that wears a wet suit & brings a personal watercraft to a press conference & won't campaign on Sunday. That will ensure that they will get no governmental backing on anything for ANOTHER 4 years????
The three eastern provinces will vote all over the place, but it does not matter, because they don't have enough people living there to matter anyway.
I'm not totaly sure how many partys we have, but it's something like this - The Liberals, The Alliance, The Progresive-Conservatives, The New Democrats, The Bloc Quebeciouis, The Communists, The Greens,The Natural Law & The Marijuana Party (no kidding). We used to have The Rinoceres Party, but I have not heard much from them lately.
With us, like you folks - a great many of us will not even bother voting - thus assuring that the same old party will get back in.
Someday you folks may even declare a "winner" - we already have ours.
Plus we have a 65 cent dollar coin - called a "LOONIE" & a 1.30 dollar coin - called a "TWONIE" (in relation to U.S. funds)

So, in closing let me wish you all a "Happy Thanksgiving" - late, as usual - we had ours a month ago.

In the immortal words of "The Bard of The WWF" - Mick Foley, - "have a nice day"

Jeesh RR! You've darn near talked me out of it! But come the 27th I'll guilt myself into making sure I vote. But it really does pi$$ me off that most of feel like the votes have already been tallied.

If what you guys say is true, you're lucky you won't have to put up with all the crap that we have right now in Florida.
