F-150 cribs?

My 1880 farm house,i gutted down to the frame.

Before.....


After........almost finshed,spot all the changes,some are easy to see and some that are not.


Stairs that were enclosed,i opened them up.


Front bedroom before and after, i made the fireplace, the tiles are from 1880.

Changes......new main roof.(5 layer rip off!!)
New pitch and roof on lower roof.
3rd window upstairs lowered to match.
Enclosed porch removed, new posts and mouldings.
New siding ground floor.
all new windows and front door/screen door,rear door
Removed ground floor door.

Thanks! Yep, I have always liked the brick. We replaced all the windows a couple of years ago. It had real pretty wooden windows. Pretty until the wood started rotting. The ceilings in nearly all the downstairs are 12' vaulted. I like that too, until I have to paint. Have to do everthing on a ladder.

I think I would hate painting ceilings if they were only 7ft tall lol. Its just a pain in the ****.

Here is my current place, which is actually my parents place.


The reason I am living at home? Because this place is taking way longer then planned to finish.


It started out as a 1850s farmhouse but none of that is visible outside anymore. I only have one photo of the inside uploaded currently and it is of the closet under the steps. At least you can see some of the woodwork that is going into the place.



Its been a family project for nearly a decade but should be done this year. The barn has been done for years and that's really all I care about, Id live in it if the city would let me.


Don't ask about the explorer, its a long story. The place is messy but its hard to keep 5+ acres clean.
