Like Screw 50, I am not a big CW fan, but Cash was a man with a humongous amount of talent---he is an American icon. This kid did both Cash and the song a huge injustice.

I think the country need to get together and agree to stop watching American Idol so the take it off the air. While we're at it, everyone should stop watching MTV as well because that channel has the dumbest shows EVER and they have nothing to do with music.

 

I almost entirely agree, however Nitro Circus on MTV is an awesome show.

 

Never seen it but on good faith we'll move that to a different network for you.

No doubt that Super-Emo saw that video since it is a couple of years old and tried to copy it. They are just WAY too similar (they both suck big-time).

I second the whole-get rid of Idol deal...My 'ol lady watches it and usually due to my inability to find anything better to do I either watch bits of it with her or heckle from afar...

I am normally not a fan of the Limeys but at least that Simon guy is brutally honest and I like that. he may be an a$$ but at least he is honest...

 

He didn't copy the chick from rockstar supernova. He used the music that known Indian artist Ravi Shankar had already composed to my understanding. Either way, it's crap. Then again, there's probably plenty who think Mike Ness singing Cash is atrocious.

 

Randy knew that guy was gonna suck, and he did. I made it to the first "ring of fire", then cut it off. Hope he gets the boot.
I'm sure Cash is already rolling in his grave after snoop dog did a rap song about him.

I will second bird dog though. That Nitro circus show is pretty good. I saw it today for the first time. It is like jackass meets X games. Pretty funny stuff too. I was dieing laughing when they had that slip and slide going down a hill and that guy flew off right into a tree.

 

Whew, that was a close call. I listened to Social Distortions version (which I personally like better than Cash's...and I LOVE Cash) about 6 times and scrubbed all the GAY off me that was acquired while listening to approx. 30 seconds of that horrific slaughter of the song.

I agree the Adam dude's country week was horrible. However when he sings some classic rock, he's actually pretty good. My favorite performance was the guy who sang Garth Brooks to make you feel my love. The "Indian" guy, Anoop, is actually an American..from Chapel Hill. And there is actually a few singers I like this year. Sad thing is the only two actual American Idol winners I care to listen to are girl singers. Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson are about the only two winners I actually care for. And come to think of it about the only ones I've listened to that haven't won is like Josh Gracin and Bucky Covington..which both sing country. BTW that new Brad Paisley song was AMAZING!!
