I seen a 98 f150 with the letters STX on the back on the truck? is that a certain kinda model of ford? what does it stand for?

 

It is what the Sport package was called on the 97's and 98's.

I don't know what the STX stands for other than to indicate the truck is a top of the line "sport" version. The first time I saw it was on a 1986, thats right 1986, 4X4 Ranger.
