Remember there is always black powder!!!. I have had no problem getting shotgun slugs, .30 30 or .270, Now .50 cal is just way out of line if you can find any.

I've got about 600 .38 spc cases that I've kept from having bought the ammo. I also have about 250 .357 mag cases doing the same thing.. I've just gotten into range shooting and I now have a Lee Pro 1000 38/357 reloader and a set of 44 mag dies too...

I was able to get 1000 Winchester SP mag primers, 1lb of IMR 4227 power only 250 .38 jacketed fp bullets and 100 .357 jacketed hp bullets to get me started... (both at 158 grains)

I only made an initial batch of 15 .38 using the minimum amount of powder (9.0 grains) and while they worked, they had no punch to them... I upped the powder to the max recommend (10.0 grains) and did 50 of those.. Haven't had a chance to shoot them yet..

I had to get all this stuff from about 4 different places too... Now, the place I got the primers and powder from is sold out of that! I better get my *** back to Cabala's and pick up some more bullets.. They had brass too, but that was a whole month ago! Probably sold out too!

If this is the way it's going to go, then it just plain sucks.... Shoulda started this a long time ago when the stuff was pleantiful.... ugh...

Same here

Tried to find MM shells to re-cert my gun permit and had a hard time finding any Price was high. Strange, only could find FMJ. Gun dealer told me he had a contract for ammo and for many guns and could not get either. Asked about a small cal. boot gun and told me good luck. This guy in the past had a little of I mean everything and now has little to nothing. The worst thing is he said we have not seen the BAD yet!!!! I guess we had better stock up. Shotgun ammo is still out there. Hard to miss with buck shot and you've still got slugs.
