Yep, at least half of my email addys recently got 'hit' with a stuffing envelope scheme. A first for me since I usually don't get that kind of crap.
I can track them, down and do a little dirty work on them, but I won't unless I get more.

The best option is to delete without reading or replying, because when your reply, you validate your email addy to them. If it is a html doc, they will know you read it, so don't read any email sent in html unless you asked for it.

F150Europe,

ATST is correct. Do not respond to a "remove" from list either. I too am suddenly receiving junk email and I am very prudent about posting my email address on the internet.

Some of the sites you may have joined recently may be selling your email address to marketers without your permission and knowledge. Most of this junk email originates in the Far East.

Setup your filters to block the spam. Most, if not all, email programs have filters to block unwanted email.

Not much. Our filters are working very fine and that helps a lot. Recently our company (ISP) made some improvements to that area to help avoid some if not all this crap.

And I am cutting with people sending long chain messages.

I never read nor reply to those emails.
Put them in the bin right away.
