Which floor jack do you recommend?

My aluminum Craftman 2 ton jack took a dump on me last night doing my brakes on my 06. Anyone ever rebuilt one, I think it is just a blown o ring or seal haven't taken it apart yet. Even if I rebuild my 2 ton I am still looking for a 3 or 4 ton floor jack. I guess my crew cab's front end weighs more than 2 tons. Would anyone recommend a Larin or going to Harbor Freight?

we've had good luck with the craftsman 3ton we bought a year ago. picked up the front of my screw a couple times without trouble. We got the one with the "fast up" one pump to contact of frame. Just a hair over 100 bones IIRC

Is it like this one? Regardless, it's on sale.

I have a 2.5 ton jack from Harbor Freight. It's designed for lifting big things, which is why I bought it. Big and heavy too.

I've got a 3 ton Kobalt floor jack that I picked up at lowes for around $85 IIRC. It came with jack stands and does a damn good job.

Ive had my Larin 3 ton for about 14 years now with no issues. My brother-in-law bought the sameone at the same time and it failed within 6 months. I guess they are hit or miss.

Those 20" high lift jacks don't even touch my frame when they're all the way up...

I have the Craftsman 3 ton. Came with 2 stands and a creeper. Worked good so far. If I had to do it again though. I would probably jsut get the kobalt 3 ton, with 2 stands. I think it is like 80-90. Made by the same company as craftsman I'm told.
