Has anyone tried the Ford Insider site? FoMoCo sent me an ad in the mail listing this site.

About the only cool thing there seems to be the wiring diagrams. The rest is kinda lame.

I read in Automotive news that Ford is trying a marketing stratagy which is starting sites like this one, making sort of chapters and clubs for people to meet! They had a SVT meet in MI...

But I'll stick to this site for my Ford truck needs

 

Yea, I tried it just today. Kinda weak, for example you can look at the TSB's but it won't give you access to their corrective action. Looking forward to the 1:26 scale model though since it looks almost like my truck

I don't know about what you have seen, but the TSBs are the only link not working on my visits. I was able to see detailed service manuals, PC/ED trouble shooting guides, wiring diagrams, component locators, etc. I about burned up my printer today printing these out for use at home. And by the way, I was able to get data for my wife's 1996 Windstar also. I hope they keep the site up!

2000Lariet: Where did you find the model truck info at??? I couldn't find it???

Cowlady: I was sent the "invitation" in the mail. More correctly, the letter I got has a personal ID # and password that I guess identifies me to the site.
