Exclamation SUBWAY SERIES!!!!!

All I have to say is GO NEW YORK....that's right I like both teams. It's gonna be tough to root for just one team. I'm just glad I don't have to gdrive through NY City during any of those games!

Talking

Was there anyone more excited than Bob Costas? I was worried he might wet himself while giving his 'unbiased' commentary.

At least he can wear it on his sleeve unashamedly. Our poor Webmaster has to wait till he gets home away from the Braves fans before he can go 'WHOOPIE!'.

My worst fear was that someday there would be a World Series where I had no one to root for. It finally happened.

GO UMPS!

Frankly, I'm torn. I was born/raised in CT, so the Mets and Yankees were part of my life. I loved the Mets, hated the Yankees.

I was at "Game 6" (Buckner) and Game 7. I attended more than 150 Mets games while in college (NYU).

But, I have also been a Braves fan since 1985 (TBS). Until the last couple of years, the rivalry between the Mets and Braves was non-existent. They were in different divisions, John Rocker was still in reform school and the Mets, for the most part, sucked.

I'm torn, but I will be rooting for the Mets.

I'm not upset.

I know Bob Costas told you to say that.

The Subway Series made it to our newspaper and sportnews on TV.At least, now I know where this is all about.
Kind of Sparta and Feyenoord Rotterdam playing Champions Leaque final.(Well that will never happen.)
Last Sunday we had our derby Sparta-Feyenoord 1-4
Baseball isn't very popular here.
Now what was that Dutchman's name who was playing in the US.
Was he any good ?

Unhappy

Ever since I was a wee-one,(we're going back to the very early 60's) I have been a Tribe Fan. This involved VERY MANY LEAN YEARS!!! Now, the Tribe is excellent, and if we had never heard of Jose Mesa, well...things might have been different. I just wished they would not have thrown away their chances this year...!!
