SUCK!!! Of all the days in winter for my heater core to go out, it's chooses the wetest weekend this winter, when it is also no more than 40* outside.....yippee.

Looks like a cold, bundled 5 hour drive home for me.

 

Yeah, this is not exactly ideal weather to be without a heater...bundle up!

 

man that is tree stand weather up here. It sucks that your heater is out but seriously your truck will warm up even with just body heat pretty quickly. I am excited its 40 out so I can freaking get some of the road salt off the truck.

 

I forgot to tell you, and didnt want to call you back, but even if you aren't using the heater core, coolant will be flowing through it. You really should bypass it if its leaking.

 

at least you don't have to pack and move in the rain and cold like i have too.
