Exclamation Deer did this to me!

Deer are only good for one thing: Venison. But the one I hit was not really good for anything after I nailed it. Split it in half! But the deer did approx 2 grand in damage. Killed the grill, took out a lot of the supports behind the grill. The deers head hit the condensor, pushing it up against the radiator. Good news is the truck is driveable. But she's gonna be out of service for about 2 weeks getting worked on. I don't know if I can live without her for 2 weeks.

That sucks. My grandfather was driving his Sable the other day when a deer sideswiped him, took off the passenger side mirror in one shot and dented up the whole side. Deet can really be a pain in the butt.

At least now you have an excuse to get a billet grill if you want one.

still to come: new spark plug wires, new rims and tires, maybe a supercharger eventually.

The important thing is it's only the truck, at least I hope so. Spartan wasn't so lucky a while back. After clipping a deer his "grill" looked worse than his truck's did! At least you can take the insurance check and pretty her up now.

A h-e-l-l of a lot better off than my escort was when I took a bambi in the front left. that was a near total. Nice to be in a big truck.

Man, you split the deer in half? I'd say your truck looks pretty good compared to what happened to the deer. Just about a month ago, I was with my uncle driving through a neiboorhood in his F-150, and this big stupid dog came running right tword us, and T-boned us! He even smashed up the door panel!

OUCH! I know that you said the head hit your condensor, but if I were you within a week the head would be over my mantel!
