Not really, but now that I've got your attention, I have a question. I just bought a 98 150 4x4 (couldn't wait for the 01 cobra anymore and got my deposit back. figure it will make a good tow truck for the 03 MY) and was wondering if you could tell me how to find out what work has been done on the VIN. I've seen it before on other forums but I forget. Thanks for your help. BTW its a 4.6 w/30k and I got it for 21k w/ a 3yr B2B warranty. Did I get a fair buy? I think it seemed fair since it's in great shape (not used for towing/clean paint+int.
Also -any upgrade priorities would be nice.

Try the TSB check on this site (look at menu on left) to see if any recalls have been made.

Congrats on the "new" truck! I just got mine 12 days ago & am STILL in love with it!
Andthensometoo had a great idea - be sure to run your VIN there. Another good site is www.ford.com - you can register the truck there & get a list of any recalls issued on your vehicle.
Have you checked this board for the door crack issue & whether your truck is affected? It's a common problem on '97-'99's I believe. I have them on both doors. If you have power windows, watch the door skin & see if it "pops" when the window is moved. Mine does but I heard it happens in manual window trucks too. Ford has several fixes which you can read about here too. DO a search for the topic "door cracks" or read the post "Not what it's cracked up to be" for more info.
I am not trying to alarm you - better to be prepared! Enjoy the truck & consider giving yourself a signature so we can see more about the truck!
