Sadly, I might not be around much... my life has turned from going in a decent direction (for a few months...), to pretty much crap. My father has liver cancer. Apparently he's had it for quite a while, and he didn't tell anyone. But the worst part about it, besides his death is the fact that my mom and I are going to be forced to get rid of the house due to bills.

It really is bad.. but it's life.

 

Sorry to hear that man, cancer sucks!! Lost too many friends and family to it. I know how ya feel. hopefully things turn for the better for you in the near future.

Sorry to hear that manual. I had a friend pass away last week from leukemia. I know life is hard right now but life will get better it just take's time.

FWIW, I lost my dad 2 months ago, and it sucked.

Try to enjoy whatever time you have left with him, and make his remaining time as good a quality as you can.

Do your best to look after your mom, both now and after. And when your dad is in the hospital, be as good an advocate for him as you can.

Hey man, sorry to hear the bad news. Lost my dad to cancer when i was 12. Things will get better. Just remember to stay strong for your mom.

Enjoy the time you have left with your father and don't waste your time with all the yahoos around here. Don't sweat the house -- find your mom a decent little apartment and live well. Remember, it's not where you live, it's how you live!
