Question As seen on TV

What do you guys know about:
GS27 - Scratch remover
Hydrowax - Spray-on wax

I normally ignore these infomercials, but they sound interesting, has anybody used these products or are they just junk?

I've used the GS 27 with mixed results.
It is acually a very mild polishing compound.
Works very well on very minor surface abrasions but not on anything that cuts deep.

Cool

Don't believe a thing about it.
I always have to laugh when I see this commercial.
Over-enthusiastic Americans speaking Dutch.

Oohhhhh Geweldig!!!!!!!

Dutchy,

Voor hele lichte krasjes misschien, maar niet voor die diepe zoals ze laten zien.
Spul erop, uitwrijven maar en weg is die kras.
Geloof jij het,ik niet.

BTW: 11 days to go !!

F150Europe, we aren't over-enthusiastic.
We just drink too much coffee.

Talking

Raoul,

F150Europe was talking about the dubbed over voices that are used in the Dutch infomercials. (and yes they are even worse then in the States).

Okay, so the GS27 does not do what they say, but what about Hydrowax, has anybody used this product. I'm using Mothers wax and it's great, but was wondering about it for in between the two hour wax jobs.

F150Europe, yes only 11 or 12 days to go, we can't wait. One quick trip to Bremerhaven and then "pure heaven".

F150Europe,

Yep, it's now Bremerhaven, Germany. We had to divert the truck to Germany, because we don't have US plates on the truck and this meant that we would have to park the truck till we got the license plates from RDW. So to be able to drive it normally, we pick it up from Bremerhaven, get a 30 day temp license plate and then wait for the Dutch license plates. We could not believe it was going to be so hard, but oh well, come the 18th or so we will be able to drive it. After that we will have to meet if you want.

Thumbs up

Can't say about the Hydrowax. I have used a couple of the "spray off" waxes and they worked fairly well. Most of them don't clean, they just protect. They go on in about 15 minutes. Let it dry a few minutes and hose it off. Since it is "just waxed" most of the water beads right off and just a couple minutes with a towel finishes it off.
