The states that have the highest cost per execution should start by following the model of whatever state has the lowest cost per execution.

Going out on a limb here, but I'm guessing the states with the highest cost have much more delays and court costs due to litigation.

I certainly don't want an innocent man to be executed, but I also don't want guilty ones sentenced to death to spend an average of 20 years on death row while their appeal is heard, re-heard and re-heard again. Then one more time, just to be sure. That's ridiculous.

a bullet costs what $0.33 for an expensive one???

More like $.40 for Federal LC XM193 5.56mm. Hornady TAP 5.56 is about $1 a round...

bah, apparantly i just needed to sleep. something about working on import-domestic cars 4 months after you tore it apart dont mix well with having family moving things without u knowing.
