Wow - there for the delivery? Did they let you undo the chains?

(nice ride!)

Doh! I just noticed that it was on a platform and not a truck.

Question

OK, so Canada it is. My next question is, does it make a difference where my truck is built? I mean all the parts are the same right?
Maybe they come with better heaters, eeh?

JDF,

It does make a difference to me.
The odometer is showing kilometers, not miles.
Km Per Hour on top(big font),Miles per Hour beneath(small font)

I got my date last week... Remember that the "schedule date" refers to the week in which it will be built. Actual build date could be any day that week.

My week is 9-25!!!

Anyone know how long it usually takes to get the truck delivered to the dealership?

Also, my understanding is that US built F-150s are made in Norfolk or Kansas City. I Know the assigned VIN for my truck (even though it hasn't been built) and it begins with a "1" which, I'm told, means US built. VINs beginning with 2 are Canadian and VINs beginning with 3 are Mexican. Anyone hear any different?

Regardless, I can't wait to get my new truck! It's a good thing I have plenty to do until then, or I'd be pining away for it too much *grin*

later...
