Cool Problem solved

I just couldn't bare getting rid of the F-150. So, on Monday, I will be the proud owner of a Y2K E-150 Cargo, 4.6 V-8, auto, radio, AC. I am trading in the old 89 Dodge van that is dying a slow death at nearly 180K miles. I found the van at a Dodge dealer with only 3865 miles. It has the factory racks and bins package too. I talked them down to $17,900 and they are giving me $1000 for the old Dodge. I will be financing $16,900 plus tax and tag. I think it is a great deal. I checked with the Ford fleet manager and my cost on a new identical van would be $20,686.

Now, the F-150 will be cleaned up and put in the garage for weekend and leisure use only. I am dead set on paying this one off. After owning a 98 for 9 months before buying my 99 F-150. I just could not justify getting rid of it after owning it only 14 months.

Happy ending!

The 40/60 seat still sucks though! Not as bad when you don't have to work out of it or drive it all day long.

Yeah, and the bonus is that it will always be clean for the weekend!
Mine is a work Truck, and every day I clean out the garbage, every fri I wash it, once a month I vacuum it, but if I am going somewhere, I have to do it all in one day. What a PITA!

Glad it all worked out for you.

Cool

Thanks ATST,

I picked the van up yesterday. These Econoline vans are bulletproof. This thing is built like a tank. It drives good for a van and the AC kicks ***. I stayed up until 10pm setting it up. This is a big step for my business and a big load off my mind.

Thanks to all who listened to my indecisive dribble over the past few months.
